Screamer Run 2025

The Screamer Run begins and ends at Alumni Park on the CSU Bakersfield campus. Runners convene at sundown for a Halloween-themed race night. The primary choices are a 5K and 10K. Younger children can participate in a Kids Trick or Treat Run, approximately one mile, for ages 12 and under. A virtual run option is available for those who wish to support the event remotely. The routes incorporate a fright theme, welcoming families and individuals seeking a spooky evening alongside serious runners. Surrounding the races, attendees can find competitive awards, music, food, raffle prizes, vendor booths, a beer garden, event merchandise, a kids' zone, and a team competition. The fundraiser benefits AdaptiSport, an accessible wellness center for adults with disabilities in Bakersfield. A portion of the proceeds also supports the CSUB Students with Disabilities program.
