Summit North Trail Runs

Summit North Trail Runs is an August trail-running weekend in Duluth, Minnesota, utilizing the trails of West Duluth. The series provides four distances: the Mountain Lap 5K, the approximately 8-mile Creeks race, the Forest Track Heavy Half Marathon, and a Friday-night Hill Climb-Descent. The courses guide runners onto rugged climbs and winding forest singletrack instead of smooth road miles. The Forest Track features a section named Ely's Tunnel. The combination of a short 5K, an 8-mile race, a heavy half marathon, and a separate climb-descent event accommodates both newer trail runners and those seeking a challenging Midwest trail effort.
