The Ovarian Cancer Circle 5th Teal There's A Cure 5K Walk Run

Teal There's A Cure is a family-friendly 5K walk/run supporting ovarian cancer research, organized by The Ovarian Cancer Circle and inspired by Robin Babbini. It takes place in spring, offering two Los Angeles-area in-person events and a virtual option for remote participation. The in-person locations are The Ebell in Hancock Park, Los Angeles, and Balboa Park Recreation Center in Encino. Virtual participants can complete their walk, run, or cycle on their own schedule within the event dates. The Hancock Park event begins at The Ebell on South Lucerne Boulevard, featuring a walk through Hancock Park. An optional lunch at Louise's is available afterward, separate from the race registration fee. The Encino event is held at Balboa Park Recreation Center on Burbank Boulevard. The virtual option is flexible, allowing participants to select any distance, complete it over multiple days, and do so from any location. The series has raised $30,000 for ovarian cancer research, accommodating local participants, families, and supporters who cannot attend in person.
