PureKids Triathlon Series Powered by Subway 2026

The PureKids Triathlon Series Powered by Subway is a youth triathlon held at the WFCU Centre in Windsor, Ontario. The entire event takes place on a closed site, free of vehicles. Children participate in swim, bike, and run segments within their age groups. This event is designed for young athletes, not for adults competing for prizes. Every registered child receives a finisher medal, T-shirt, bathing cap, and sponsor passes or coupons. There are no age-group awards. The swim portion occurs in the WFCU Centre’s 6-lane, 25-meter pool, supervised by lifeguards. Following the swim, athletes navigate an age-group-designated transition area. They then cycle a 1.2K paved loop around the arena's exterior and complete a 500m rectangular run loop in the parking lot. Older age groups complete additional laps. Finish times are displayed alphabetically and by age group. Refreshments are provided by Subway and Tim Hortons. Sponsor draw prizes are awarded during the day, and the event supports Special Olympics Ontario.
