Informazioni su questa gara
The Osnabrücker Ringweg Ultramarathon is a roughly 70 km trail ultra circling Osnabrück in northwest Germany, following the Osnabrücker Ringweg hiking path as a single large loop. It begins and ends at the Gut Sutthausen parking area on Riesenallee. Runners depart early in the morning with a 13-hour time limit, plus some organizer leeway. The course involves approximately 730 to 800 meters of elevation gain, presenting enough hills to demand patience while remaining largely runnable.
The route combines forest roads, narrow trails, and side roads, featuring fast segments where consistent pacing is more important than technical mountain expertise. Three aid stations are available, and while the course is marked, participants are advised to use the provided Garmin or Komoot track due to potential missing markers. This is a small, functional event, not a large-scale spectacle: the participant cap is set at 40, the entry fee is reasonable, and finishers are awarded a medal, their time, and a certificate.
