10. SaarschleifenLand-Lauf 2026

The SaarschleifenLand-Lauf follows the Saar river in and around Merzig, with the course leading through Merzig city park and the lower Saartal valley. The primary race offers runners a choice between a half marathon or 15 km, with the final distance selectable while on the course, based on the runner's condition that day. The event includes shorter races: a 5 km fun run, a 1.5 km children's run, and a 250 m toddler run. Saarschleifenland Merzig organizes the race, tailoring the program for families and casual runners alongside those pursuing longer distances.
