Amurrioko Krosa - Cross de Amurrio 2026

The Amurrioko Krosa - Cross de Amurrio is a cross-country running event held in Amurrio, Álava province, Basque Country, in late December. The event offers a 5 km popular run, alongside senior and under-23 races covering 9,000 metres. Shorter races are available for younger age groups, with distances as short as 1,000 metres for under-10 and under-12 runners. The event has taken place since December 2018 and is part of the ADOC - BE PLUS circuit for cross-country and road races. This circuit connects Amurrio to a more robust Spanish cross-country calendar, which includes several races with World Athletics Gold status. The day is organized for both local runners and structured age-category competitions.
