La Chevignoise 2026

La Chevignoise is a town race held in Chevigny-Saint-Sauveur, Côte-d'Or, eastern France, typically on the first Sunday of November. Its main event is a 10 km road race, the most popular distance, attracting over 500 runners in a recent year. A 5 km option is also available, open to all participants, alongside junior races of 1 km and 2 km. This format caters to adults, club runners, young athletes, and families. The races take place entirely within Chevigny-Saint-Sauveur, with both the 5 km and 10 km events using a single-loop course. The 5 km is designated as a trail run and saw over 200 participants recently. The 10 km road race, which has a history of over 20 years, is a well-established event. Shorter courses are provided for children: a non-competitive 1 km for the youngest and a 2 km for the benjamins category. Organized by LLA Chevignoise, the event is locally recognized as a long-standing and popular fixture in the Côte-d'Or running calendar.
