藤原ダム完成記念 第67回藤原湖マラソン 2026

The Fujiwara Lake Marathon begins and ends at Fujiwara Lake Athletic Park in Minakami, a Gunma town situated at the Tone River's headwaters. This summer race, held regardless of weather, centers on Lake Fujiwara and offers 15 km, 5 km, and 3 km distances suitable for adult runners, junior high students, and older elementary school children. The primary route follows the lakeshore out and back, presenting runners with significant elevation changes, tunnels, and a passage across the summit of Fujiwara Dam. Local students participate without charge. Guest runner Mari Tanigawa brings a strong marathon background, having won races in Tokyo and Paris. Previous participants have mentioned a welcoming atmosphere post-race, with awards for age groups, red T-shirts, beverages, mentsuyu, and valuable insoles among the prizes.
