Informazioni su questa gara
Fagasu no Mori 24-Hour Endurance Trail Running is a mountain trail event held at Fagasu no Mori Takashiro in Naka Town, Tokushima Prefecture, with routes extending into the Naka and Kamiyama area. It is part of the Prince Jikatabi Cup, which combines the 24-hour lap race with a separate 16 km mountain marathon in early autumn. In the endurance race, solo men, solo women, and relay teams aim to complete as many laps as possible on a roughly 5.7 km mountain course within 24 hours.
The lap course is situated high in the mountains, ranging between approximately 1,116 m and 1,450 m above sea level, with nearly all of it unpaved. This format integrates pacing, nutrition, rest, weather preparedness, and night running as key race elements. Each runner is provided a small self-aid table at Fagasu no Mori Takashiro for personal supplies and a rest area for sleeping with personal bedding. The companion mountain marathon, though short in distance at 16 km, features 1,690 m of climbing, a completely unpaved route, two aid stations, two checkpoints, and a six-hour cutoff. Participants must be at least 18 years old and comfortable in mountain environments, with the event welcoming participants from beginner to advanced levels.
