Run Stephenson County begins and ends at the Jane Addams Trailhead in Orangeville, Illinois, offering a 5K, 10K, half marathon, and cycling fun ride. This is an annual YMCA fundraiser, with entry fees supporting reduced-cost access to YMCA programs and memberships for children, families, seniors, and neighbors. The half marathon features a flat start and finish, with rolling hills in the middle miles. The 5K and 10K courses are designed for runners aiming for fast times. The paved, certified route follows the Jane Addams Trail and local farmland roads, including chip timing, aid stations, and porta-potties. Participants receive a tech shirt, half marathon finishers are awarded medals, top finishers receive trophies, and the finish area provides food, vendors, and a close-knit community atmosphere.

The Yeti Winter Trail Series is a four-race winter trail series held at the Dixon Park District Facility in Dixon, Illinois. It spans four months, beginning with a 5K and progressing through a 10K and 15K to a 20K, totaling 31 miles of racing. Check-in begins at 7:30 AM, races commence at 8:30 AM, and participants can register for individual distances or the entire series. The series format encourages consistent participation throughout the winter. Finishing all four races earns a long-sleeve blue shirt. Runners completing every race for five consecutive years receive a hoodie, and ten-year finishers are awarded a jacket. The initial 125 registered participants will receive a gift, and series awards are presented to the top five male and female finishers based on overall time, with additional awards for Masters and Grandmasters categories.

Footsteps for Families è un evento divertente per tutta la famiglia che si tiene alla Harlem High School, nella zona di Rockford. Il fulcro è una 5K (corsa/camminata) e una Kids Fun Run di 100 metri. Funziona così: gli adulti e i ragazzi più grandi fanno la 5K, mentre i bambini più piccoli hanno la loro corsetta. E il ricavato della giornata va a Safe Families for Children. L'evento non è solo per i corridori competitivi, ma mette insieme podisti, camminatori, famiglie, donatori e volontari. Safe Families for Children ne approfitta per spiegare la sua missione, ovvero mettere in contatto i genitori con una rete di supporto qualificata e verificata. La sezione di Rockford è nata nel 2009. Durante la giornata ci sono anche aiuti concreti: iscrizioni per volontari, segnalazioni di famiglie da parte dell'agenzia, una bacheca con le necessità attuali e un programma di donazioni abbinate.
