Gare di 5K vicino a Plum Springs

La Haunted Horsepower 5K Run/Walk ti porta direttamente sulla pista da corsa al NCM Motorsports Park a Bowling Green, Kentucky. Questa 5K di ottobre parte alle 8:00 CDT del mattino su un percorso piatto, veloce e senza traffico, tutto all'interno dell'impianto motorsports. È la prima edizione della Haunted Horsepower, e la pista è il suo punto forte. Invece delle solite strade di città o dei sentieri nei parchi, questa 5K usa l'asfalto pensato per il motorsports. La gara offre cronometraggio con chip, risultati online, una maglia, premi assoluti per i primi classificati uomo e donna, e premi di categoria per i partecipanti dai 12 anni in giù fino ai 70 e oltre. Prima della 5K c'è una Kids Dash gratuita per i bambini fino a 10 anni, e il ritiro del pettorale si fa il giorno stesso della gara.

The Howl-O-Ween Hustle 5K, a dog-friendly Halloween run, takes place at Las Colonias in Grand Junction. It features a 5K race and a 1 Mile Fun Run. Both events begin and end at WestCo Brewing. This race serves as the sole fundraiser for the Bowling Green Running Club's High School Athletics Program, supporting track and cross-country teams with uniforms and equipment. High schools in Allen, Barren, Butler, Edmonson, Logan, Metcalfe, Ohio, Simpson, and Warren counties are eligible to apply for aid, with club officials reviewing applications and distributing funds generated by the race.
