Cupid's Chase 5K Council Bluffs 2027

The Cupid's Chase 5K Council Bluffs begins and ends at Tom Hanafan River's Edge Park on the Council Bluffs riverfront. This professionally timed 5K takes place each February near Valentine's Day, with check-in in the morning and a 10 AM start. Runners and walkers are welcome, and the event accommodates individuals using wheelchairs, families with strollers, and participants with leashed pets. The Council Bluffs race is one event in the national Cupid's Chase 5K series, which generates funds for Community Options, Inc. This nonprofit, established in 1989, supports individuals with disabilities by providing housing and employment assistance. Last year, over 11,000 participants nationwide took part in Cupid's Chase races. Medals and drawstring bags may be given to finishers, as available. Awards are presented to the top overall male and female finishers, as well as winners in age categories ranging from 12 and under to 70 and over.
