DAV 5K 2026

The DAV 5K Boston is a run, walk, or roll event at DCR Fort Independence on Castle Island, held on Veterans Day Weekend. It focuses on honoring veterans, thanking those who served, and highlighting the daily challenges faced by ill and injured veterans. The event supports DAV’s mission to ensure injured veterans receive support during recovery. The Boston course is a flat, fast 5K finishing outside Fort Independence, making it suitable for runners, walkers, wheelchair athletes, families, and first-timers. The event collaborates with Massachusetts state partners, DCR, State Police, Boston EMS, and the City of Boston for safe execution. Teams and individual fundraisers are integral to the race, with top groups and fundraisers recognized at the closing ceremony.
