The 9th annual Fort2Fort Five Mile Challenge starts inside Fort Mackinac, taking runners and walkers through paved trails past historic Island landmarks to Fort Holmes, the Island's highest point. The return route follows scenic trails to finish at Fort Mackinac. Participants receive a shirt, a burnt wood medal, and free entry to Fort Mackinac and other Island attractions.
