The Fall Color 5K 2026

The Fall Color 5K guides participants through the wooded East Side of The Morton Arboretum during its peak fall foliage. This is a USATF-certified 5K, meaning the distance adheres to race standards, and the event welcomes both runners and walkers. The course is contained within the arboretum, with trees bordering the path rather than urban infrastructure. Registration provides race apparel and general admission to the arboretum on the day of the event. Awards are presented to the overall male, female, and nonbinary winners, as well as the top three finishers in each age group. A virtual participation option allows individuals to cover the same distance in a different location, receiving mailed race packets and a coupon for arboretum admission.
