Wild Earth 'Coastal High' Trail Runs 2026

The Coastal High Trail Runs begin and end at Binna Burra in Queensland's Gold Coast Hinterland. Participants can select either a 50 km trail ultra or the 28 km Coastal High Crunch. The race takes place on trails within Lamington and Springbrook National Parks, areas recognized by World Heritage listing. It is also a component of Wild Earth's Triple Crown Race series. The course utilizes national park trails in the Binna Burra section, avoiding road loops or city paths. Consequently, the participants are primarily trail runners prepared for an extended period on varied terrain. Registration covers bus transfer, aid stations, electronic timing, event photographs, a finisher medal, a participant gift, and a technical race shirt for early registrants. The event has completed nine physical editions, along with one virtual edition that occurred after bushfires impacted the Binna Burra region.
