King & Queen of the Mountain 2026

Eungella Range is the focus: a direct contest with the climb starting at the edge of Eungella National Park, where the road and rough ground demand effort with every step. King & Queen of the Mountain is an annual uphill race with a straightforward goal, to “Challenge your strength and endurance” on a difficult climb rather than find an easy pace. The field will likely thin quickly as runners test themselves against the mountain's rough terrain, with “stunning vistas” appearing as the reward for continuing to move. Juniors and seniors participate, giving it a local club atmosphere, but the course still provides everyone an “unforgettable test of grit” before the finish.
