レースについて
Mt. Remarkable National Park is the focus: rough, exposed trail country that “lives up to its name - it's REMARKABLE!” First staged in 2017, this has become an “iconic event” with a distinct trail-race character, where the landscape dominates and your legs feel the effort quickly.
The course is plainly described as “tough and challenging,” even for experienced trail runners, so this is not an easy run with a medal. Runners of all abilities participate, but the longer option has qualifying criteria to ensure participants have the “necessary experience to handle such challenging conditions.” Bib pick-up at the North Star Hotel and medal presentations at Jacka Brothers Brewery provide a small-town race-weekend atmosphere once the running is finished.
