Run Port Douglas

Four Mile Beach is the detail that sticks: this road-and-beach event runs through Tropical North Queensland and ends on the sand. Run Port Douglas began in 2025, so it still has that new-race feel, with starts based around Crystalbrook Superyacht Marina and, for the shorter run/walk option, Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort. The courses wind through the town’s streets before dropping runners onto the famous Four Mile Beach sands for a finish on the sands. It looks friendly for beginners and first-timers, with flat, fast routes for anyone chasing a time, but enough tropical surroundings to make easing off the pace feel reasonable too.
