The TCS Sydney Marathon presented by ASICS is a 42.195 km road marathon held in Sydney during late August. The race commences on Miller Street in North Sydney, offering participants seven hours to complete the course, and holds World Athletics Platinum Label status. The route guides participants past the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Opera House, concluding on the Opera House Forecourt. Sydney is the newest and seventh Abbott World Marathon Major, attracting runners aiming to complete the set of major marathons, alongside novice marathoners, club runners, and international visitors.
