レースについて
The Osnabrücker 6-Stunden-Lauf is a six-hour lap race held at Rubbenbruchsee in Osnabrück, Germany. The start and finish area is located by Café Bistro am Rubbenbruchsee on Barenteich. Participants have a fixed time limit, not a fixed distance; the objective is to cover as many kilometres as possible within six hours. The event includes a relay option for teams of three to six runners and supports HelpAge’s “Jede Oma zählt” campaign.
The race format accommodates various runners: those aiming for a large distance, marathon or ultra runners using it for training, and individuals testing a longer effort without a set distance. This tenth edition has a field limit of 300 participants, which is already full. The organizers are also implementing a sustainable starter-bag project. The race is listed in the DUV Ultra Marathon Statistics, fitting for a timed event where strong runners can achieve ultra-distance mileage in six hours.
