レースについて
The Voxtruper Volkslauf begins and ends at the Sporthalle Grundschule Voxtrup in Osnabrueck-Voxtrup, with races taking place from the afternoon into the evening. VfR Voxtrup organizes this local running event with multiple distances. It starts with short children’s races of about 400 meters and 800 meters, which are not timed. These are followed by a 3.9 km Schülerlauf, a 5.5 km Jedermannlauf, and a 9.8 km Hauptlauf.
The longer routes include elevation gains: approximately 39 meters on the Schülerlauf, 52 meters on the Jedermannlauf, and 182 meters on the Hauptlauf. Age categories are clearly defined: the Schülerlauf is for participants aged 9 and up, the Jedermannlauf from age 12, and the Hauptlauf from age 16. The youngest races do not use timing. Water stations are provided on the longer courses. Race numbers are distributed at the venue, and late registration is available for a small fee shortly before each race start. For safety reasons, dogs and baby joggers are not permitted. The event is also part of the Dreierpack series.
