21. Diekseelauf 2026

The Diekseelauf is a running event held in August next to Dieksee lake in Malente, located in Schleswig-Holstein, northern Germany. The primary race covers 11.5 km as an undulating loop around the lake, featuring a mix of road and trail surfaces, distinct from a flat city course. Additionally, there is a 6 km Jedermannlauf, a "run for everybody," and a 1.5 km Kinderlauf for children. The start and finish lines are situated on the lakeside promenade in Bad Malente-Gremsmühlen. The 11.5 km course winds through woods, rolling terrain, and the village of Timmdorf, while the shorter races follow an out-and-back path along the southern shore. Participant fields are typically local and moderate in size; the main race generally sees over a hundred finishers, with walkers and children's runners contributing to the event's attendance.
