DresdenHALF 2026

DresdenHALF is a new running weekend in Dresden, with the main half marathon set for its first edition in early September. The headline race is 21.1 km, and the programme also includes a fast 5 km plus children’s races, catering to serious runners and families, not just half-marathon specialists. The route runs through Dresden and along the Elbe, featuring baroque facades, broad city streets, historic landmarks, and riverfront sections offering runners many sights during the race. The KidsRUN is 2.1 km for ages 6 to 16, starting and finishing at the Saxon State Parliament, allowing young runners to wear a bib, hear the crowd, and finish within the DresdenHALF event area.
