The GochNess Triathlon, a swim-bike-run event, is centered at the GochNess Freizeitbad in Goch, with the race headquarters located in and around the leisure pool. Approximately 900 athletes participate, making it a significant local competition rather than a small club event. TV Goch's triathlon department organizes the race. The swim portion begins the day within the pool before athletes transition to the rest of the triathlon.
