The Höglwörther-See-Triathlon begins at the Schornbach waterfall on Höglwörther See and concludes at the village square in Anger. It is a sprint-distance triathlon organized by SC Anger, featuring swimming, cycling, and running within a compact, club-organized race format. Athletes may compete individually or as part of a relay team, with the participants including amateur entrants and age-group competitors instead of a large show program.
The race utilizes transition areas in Höglwörth and at the Anger village square, connecting the day closely to both the lake and the village center. Approximately 200 individual starters and around 45 relay teams provide sufficient activity to feel like a genuine competition without becoming an anonymous gathering. Its appeal is direct: prepare your equipment, enter the water, cycle cleanly, run to the square, and compete in a local triathlon atmosphere with minimal complication.
