Heidi-Challenge is a five-stage running race based in Berlin, with 316 km split across five long days. Each stage is roughly ultramarathon length: Tour Werder is 61.8 km, Tour Teltowkanal is 66.6 km, Tour City Berlin is 63 km, Tour Havel Süd is 68.3 km, and Tour Havel Nord is 56.7 km. The race starts in Berlin and uses routes through the city and the surrounding area, so it is a compact stage race rather than a point-to-point expedition. Entry is listed at 320 euros, there is a participant limit, and the event is not ranking-eligible or IAU-labelled.
The course names give a clear picture of the week: one stage goes into Werder, one follows the Teltow Canal, one stays in Berlin, and two use the Havel area to the south and north. Finishers are a small group, with 29 recorded over the years: 20 men and 9 women. Winning full-race times have ranged from just over 31 hours to just over 39 hours, while individual stage-winning times usually sit between about 5 hours 45 minutes and 8 hours 50 minutes depending on the stage and field. Conibeta GmbH organizes the race, with Thomas Steinicke listed as the contact person.
