The Hohenzollern Berglauf is an autumn uphill race in Hechingen, Germany. Runners ascend from the Weiherstadion to Hohenzollern Castle. The course measures 8.1 km with a 365-meter elevation gain, making it short enough for a hard effort but steep enough to resemble a true mountain run.
The finish at Burg Hohenzollern defines the race. The castle is the ancestral seat of the Prussian royal family and overlooks the region. Each year, hundreds of amateur runners participate, with fields typically around 400 competitors. Previous winners include Dominik Notz and Hannah Arndt.
