The Rheinstetten Triathlon is a short-distance triathlon in Rheinstetten, Baden-Wurttemberg, held in summer by FV Sportfreunde Forchheim 1911 e.V. Its format is designed to be accessible: 400m swimming, 17km cycling, and a 5km run, with options for solo participants and relay teams. The distances make it a suitable first triathlon, and the relay option allows swimmers, cyclists, and runners to divide the disciplines.
The event originated from a club anniversary concept, with 35 participants beginning with a 300m swim in the Forchheim indoor pool. It later relocated to the Epplesee and expanded from 143 individual starters plus 32 relay teams to a full capacity of 250 individuals and 50 relays. Recent events have sold out quickly, and the race has also featured a shorter youth triathlon for ages 14 to 17.
