Schluchsee Triathlon 2026

The Schluchsee Triathlon is an Olympic-distance event held in Schluchsee, Baden-Württemberg, centered on the Black Forest's largest lake. Participants swim 1.5 km, cycle approximately 36 to 38 km, and run 10 km. Relay teams compete over the same distances. The event attracts around 500 athletes and is organized by Vereinsgemeinschaft Triathlon e.V. The swim is followed by climbs immediately after exiting the water, with additional elevation on both the bike and run segments. One source indicates a total elevation gain of 331 meters. The finish line is located at the Kurhaus in Schluchsee. This event is part of the Internationaler Schwarzwald-Cup and the Triathlonliga, and it also serves as the BWTV-Triathlonliga finale.
