10K de Carabanchel 2026

The 10K de Carabanchel "Del Alto al Bajo" is a 10 km road race held in Madrid's Carabanchel district. It begins at 10:00 AM, guiding participants from the upper section of the district to the lower section. The event is promoted by the Carabanchel district board and organized in conjunction with Club Deportivo Triatlón. The course winds through Carabanchel's historic neighborhoods, connecting the race to the local area instead of utilizing generic city streets. Registration requirements are more stringent than for many common races: participants must possess a current athletics federation license from the Royal Spanish Athletics Federation or the Madrid Athletics Federation; registrations submitted without one will be voided without reimbursement. Carlos Izquierdo, the Carabanchel councilor, introduced the inaugural event at Puente de Toledo.
