Antequera Trail Race Night 2026

The Antequera Trail Race Night is the after-dark edition of the Antequera Trail Race in Andalusia, Spain. Both races start and finish at the Plaza de Toros in Antequera. This night race is scheduled for late July, a time when running after sunset is practical because of the summer heat. It is a mountain trail race covering approximately 18 kilometers with 700 meters of elevation gain. The number of participants is limited to 300 runners, making it a smaller event. The course departs the city, crossing the Santa Catalina area, passing the Las Arquillas reservoir, and looping around the Pinar de Torre Hacho before heading back towards Antequera. Club Deportivo Matagrande Trail Antequera is the organizing body. The event retains the charitable objective associated with the broader Antequera Trail Race. The original race commenced in 2022 with daytime editions, subsequently introducing other formats like longer and shorter trail races, a 10 km hiking option, and races for cadets and juniors.
