Carrera El Grupo S.C.A 2026

Carrera El Grupo S.C.A is a solidarity run held in late July in Castell de Ferro, on Granada’s coast, offering 5 km and 10 km routes. The race is organized by the El Grupo SCA cooperative, with support from the Gualchos-Castell de Ferro town council and UNICA. Proceeds currently support the fight against ALS. The event has been held at least nine times, establishing it as a fixture in the local summer calendar. Participants include local runners, club runners from Andalusia and other regions, farmers, cooperative workers, and friends of El Grupo SCA. Previous editions raised funds for Residencia Virgen del Carmen and the Spanish Federation of Parents of Children with Cancer.
