Desafío Urbión 2026

Desafío Urbión begins and ends in Covaleda’s Plaza Mayor, situated at 1,202 meters above sea level in the province of Soria, northern Spain. This early September event features a trail and skyrunning race series, offering Sky, Ultra Sky, and Vertical Kilometer formats. Shorter race options are listed around 6K and 17K, with some sources also noting 11K and 36K distances. The primary routes follow trails near Covaleda, ascending toward Refugio del Becedo (1,620 meters) and Refugio del Muchachón (1,894 meters). Runners will encounter the first of seven planned aid stations at these points. The longer courses traverse seven glacial lagoons, hold UTMB Index and ITRA relevance, and are part of Spain’s National League. The event also links to the ISF World Skyrunning Championships.
