Korosti Trail 2026

Korosti Trail is a mountain race held in Legazpi, starting and finishing in the town square. It is organized by the Korosti Trail group with assistance from Legazpi City Council, and it is part of the Goierri Kopa trail series. Participants can select either a 13.5 km short route or a 23.4 km long route. The race enters the mountains surrounding Legazpi, passing Gorostiaga, the 950 m peak also known as Korosti. The course also incorporates Jentiletxe, Oregi, Eskortazarreta, and Arrandaitz, which is also named Arranoaitz; the long course includes Arrolamendi. This selection of peaks defines it as a true local mountain race, distinct from a park trail run, featuring repeated ascents near 900 m and a course designed around the elevated terrain that gives the race its name.
