Ruta Cicloturista Pórtugos is a 32.5 km cycling route based in Pórtugos, a village in Granada. It starts from the Plaza de la Iglesia, with MTB riders setting off first, followed shortly after by E-Bike and gravel riders; a hiking route leaves later in the morning. The ride is short on paper but not flat, with 952 meters of climbing packed into the route. Riders get three aid stops: drinks, water, and fruit at 8.3 km and 17.3 km, then a finish-line stop at 32.5 km with isotonic drinks, local ham, local cured meats, and beer. The event also covers the practical basics with bib pickup, breakfast before the start, medical support on the route, insurance for each participant, a gift bag, and free rice for both cyclists and hikers afterward.
