San Silbestre Trail Bergara is a short mountain race in Bergara, held on the morning of December 31 as a year-end run. The route is 7.4 kilometers long and climbs 395 meters, presenting a compact trail effort with significant uphill work before the New Year celebrations.
The race features a mixed-pairs category, distinguishing it from standard solo trail events. Participation has been increasing, with the latest edition achieving its highest numbers across ten editions: 334 solo finishers and 66 mixed pairs. Recent results indicate a strong local and regional field, including repeat winner Aimar Larrea, earlier wins by Ibai Larrea, mountain specialist Gontzal Murgoitio, local runner Julen Badiola on the podium again, and Ainara Uribarri leading the women ahead of Marianne Rebouças and Irati Lizeaga.
