The Trail de la Fabada is a January mountain race held in Miraflores de la Sierra, a town within Spain’s Madrid region. The event begins at 10:00 AM from Calle de la Estación, offering participants two course options: a shorter trail of approximately 10 to 11 kilometers and a longer one covering 20 to 21 kilometers.
The race is part of the Circuito 4 Desafios and is organized by CDE Sierra Oeste. Its most notable feature, reflected in its name, is the post-race meal: cook Iñigo prepares a large Asturian fabada for all participants. Beer and soft drinks are provided with the meal. Early registrants may also receive a limited-edition race shirt.
