Trail Sierra de Facinas is a mountain race held in Facinas, a village within the Tarifa area of Cádiz, southern Spain. It typically takes place in early November, with registration opening several months prior. The primary trail race covers approximately 21 km, featuring around 600 to 650 m of elevation gain, positioning it as a challenging intermediate distance between a fast half marathon and a demanding mountain challenge.
The course is designed as a well-maintained mountain path that begins gaining elevation from the first kilometer. Sufficient climbing is included to necessitate careful pacing. A non-competitive option is available, making the event accessible to participants not focused on achieving a specific ranking. The race is organized by AYTO FACINAS, and this marks its fourth edition, lending it a grounded, local character rather than that of a fleeting event.
