レースについて
WAA 360º The Challenge is a multi-day ultra-trail on La Gomera in Spain’s Canary Islands, beginning in San Sebastián de La Gomera and typically held in mid-November. The primary race covers 265 km, categorized as a mountain, nature, and island event, with 1,500 m of elevation gain according to current race details.
The race requires runners to navigate a long island route that is technically demanding and unmarked, meaning navigation and self-management are as crucial as speed. Its 360º format has also been held on Gran Canaria, featuring a 270 km course with 14,900 m of climbing and only 69 finishers; Luca Papi was the winner of that edition. The event is included in the UTMB Index system as a 100M race, and its founding philosophy originates from 2017.
