WOP Challenge Bilbao - Bizkaia 2026

The WOP Challenge Bilbao - Bizkaia is a team relay race held in October, with Bilbao serving as the central point. Participants can select one of three formats: a 224 km running and trail challenge that begins and ends in Bilbao, a 50 km single-day running and trail option from Getxo to Bilbao, or a 50 km trekking option along the same Getxo-Bilbao path. The course guides participants through various municipalities, natural landscapes, and notable locations across the province, functioning as both a competition and a tour of Bizkaia. Asfedebi organizes the event, which aims to raise awareness for the fight against neurodegenerative diseases. The event concludes with Estropatada, a rubber duck race on the Bilbao Estuary, accompanied by live music, food vendors, and culinary offerings.
