The Carrera Urbana de Beas de Granada is a free 6 km night road race held in Beas de Granada, a village within the province of Granada. Participants begin and end the race in Plaza Alta, the town's central square. The main race commences at 8:00 PM and utilizes digital timing.
The course follows a marked urban circuit through the town’s primary streets, which are closed to traffic. Aid stations are provided along the route and at the finish line. The Ayuntamiento de Beas de Granada organizes this event, featuring categories for participants ranging from young school-age runners to seniors and veteran groups (over 35, 45, and 60). Children compete first over shorter distances, from 50 to 900 meters. Awards are presented to the top three men and women in each category. Registered runners receive a commemorative technical shirt and entry into a sports-equipment raffle.
