The XXX Media Maratón Jerez is a 21.097-kilometer half marathon held in Jerez de la Frontera. The start is on Avenida Alcalde Álvaro Domecq near the González Hontoria entrance, and the finish is inside the Estadio Municipal de Chapín. It begins at 9:00 a.m., an hour earlier than in previous years, and attracts over 1,200 participants. This race has been a fixture for local and visiting runners for about thirty years.
The route is described by organizers as flat and comfortable, making it suitable for runners seeking a fast time or those moving up to this distance. It passes Jerez landmarks such as the Plaza de Toros and the Real Escuela before concluding at the stadium. Bibs and runner bags are distributed at the Feria del Corredor before the event. Limited race-morning pickup is available only for eligible runners from outside Cádiz province who have requested it. Volunteers are recruited via the event's website, contributing to a community sports day atmosphere rather than just a timed race.
