Aulanko Tower Trail 2026

Aulanko Tower Trail is a trail race in the Aulanko national landscape near Hämeenlinna, offering 22 km and 13 km distances. The longer distance provides a complete tour of varied terrain, while the shorter route crosses Aulanko's park forest. As part of Trail Tour Finland, the event attracts some of Finland's strongest trail runners alongside many regular participants. Both courses are genuinely off-road, featuring rocks, roots, pine forest, heathland, open rock, steep ascents, and quick descents. The 22 km course ascends approximately 550 meters and includes about 3.5 km of forest-road-style transition. The 13 km route gains over 350 meters. The course also features a "ghost forest," a distinctive local detail. The race center is located about three kilometers from Hämeenlinna railway station, and Aulanko is roughly a two-hour drive from both the Helsinki region and Central Finland.
