Albigny en Bleu is a one-hour road run and charity walk in Annecy, France, held around the end of March for Mars Bleu, the national colorectal cancer awareness month. The format is simple: move for one hour around the Albigny Sports Complex, running or walking at your own pace, with distance counted by the kilometer rather than by a fixed finish line.
The event is situated near Annecy’s lake-and-nature setting, but its main purpose is fundraising. For every kilometer completed, partners make a donation to support adapted physical activity and well-being care for oncology patients. Le Cocon du Lac organizes it, and the field is open to walkers, runners, and anyone who wants a low-pressure hour of movement tied directly to a local health cause.
