La bitchoise - Bitche 2026

La Bitchoise is a charity race and walking event held in Bitche, Moselle, France, typically in early October. Participants can choose between 5 km and 10 km distances, with options for running, walking, and Nordic walking. The event supports the fight against cancer. The 10 km race, named Les foulées de la Citadelle, is a one-loop urban road race that includes a night option. Walkers can select routes such as La montée du Hochkopf (10 km) and La ronde de l’étang de Hasselfurth (5 km). Recent editions have seen over 200 participants, and in the past, the event anticipated around a thousand participants, with staggered starts beginning at 8 AM. Over its first seven years, La Bitchoise raised 38,000 euros for cancer-related causes.
