La Foulée des Baous is a July race weekend in Saint-Jeannet, organized by Longo Trail, featuring mountain running at several levels. The shorter Foulée events cover 5 km with 120 m of climbing and 10 km with 250 m of climbing. The Trail des Baous challenge includes tougher options: 18 km with 850 m of elevation gain and 42 km with 2,200 m of elevation gain.
The routes traverse the Baous terrain above the French Riviera, offering views between the Mercantour mountains and the Mediterranean, from the Esterel massif toward the Italian coast. Participants can include trail runners aiming for the long challenge, those seeking a shorter hilly race, and families, as children's races are also part of the weekend.
