La Run'ature is a mid-September nature trail race held in Cherveux, Deux-Sèvres, Nouvelle-Aquitaine. Participants can select either a 10 km or 21 km distance, with the longer trail being the more frequently chosen option. The event maintains a small, local character, having hosted just over 300 participants at its most recent running, which marked the race's seventh edition.
The courses wind around the Cherveux/St Christophe body of water, incorporating the less-traveled Marcusson and Musson valleys. Approximately 90 percent of the race takes place off-road, crossing paths, undergrowth, single tracks, and including field and water crossings. The race route also extends onto private land accessible only on race day, and both the 10 km and 21 km distances commence and conclude on the beach adjacent to the lake. Post-race refreshments will be provided, with shower facilities available at the nearby campsite.
