La Sagittaire 2027

La Sagittaire is a 21 km nature race held annually in January in Sucy-en-Brie, Val-de-Marne, approximately ten kilometers from Paris. The event maintains a straightforward format: a single course where participants can choose to run or walk. The race is organized with a strong commitment to environmental responsibility, integrating its natural setting into the event's structure. The course follows trails around Sucy-en-Brie, including wooded areas within the Domaine de Notre-Dame and the Forêt régionale de Grosbois. It presents a manageable 250 meters of elevation gain, though winter conditions like mud and a river crossing at the Réveillon can add to the challenge. The previous edition attracted over 400 participants, appealing to runners and walkers seeking a concise trail experience near Paris without multiple distance options.
